Really disappointing
Location was fairly central - lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops on the street below. The balcony was a fantastic spot for watching NYE fireworks.
The lobby was filthy - full of cigarette butts, rubbish bags on the window sill and puddles on the floor. The apartment smelt of cigarettes - really off putting for non smokers, disgusting really. I wish I had known this before because I would never have booked an apartment smelling of cigarettes. I’m not sure if people had smoked outside the window but the smell inside was so strong that we couldn’t sleep without the window open. It was noisy on the road below with the window open. The first night we couldn’t sleep because the people upstairs were moving furniture, banging and marching at full force. The marching was particularly bad at 2am and 4am when we thought they might fall through the ceiling. Never known anything like it. They stopped around 7am - not good. Beds and pillows were pretty uncomfortable. Very small space for four adults.
