The location was fabulous and loved having a washing machine.

There seemed to be a very strong urine smell coming from the bathroom (had to keep the door closed) and the towels smelled like they hadn’t dried enough before being folded up (did not smell nice).

The communication from our host Stefan was first class. He also went the extra mile to accommodate our luggage outwith our check-in/ check-out times which helped to enjoy the beautiful city of Valletta for a good few hours more on those days. We would definitely recommend! Little treats and water on arrival also thoughful and appreciated! The location is ideal within Valletta but would not be suitable for anyone struggling with mobility.

There wasn't anything to not like, but this is typical of the older property accommodation in Valletta and not suitable for anyone struggling with mobility or basic fitness. The accommodation is on the upper floors and the stair access is a little steep, especially carrying luggage.

El anfitrión, Stefan, era muy agradable y en todo momento hubo buena comunicación con él. Las sábanas y toallas huelen muy bien. Nos dejaron un Kinder y unas Pringle’s como bienvenida.

El día que llegamos, recogimos las llaves a las 15h (hora de check-in). Yo había dicho con antelación que llegaríamos a las 20.30h, pero finalmente fue antes ya que pasamos justo al lado y dejamos las mochilas. A las 15.05h estábamos estirados en la cama descansando un rato, cuando se escucha la puerta de la habitación: para nuestra sorpresa, era el anfitrión. Abrió la puerta sin mirar si en la cajetilla de la calle donde se recogen las llaves estaban las nuestras, sin picar al timbre (que hay abajo) o sin tocar la puerta antes (arriba). Nos dijo que vino a por un shampoo que la mujer que limpia olvidó. Aparte de eso, la ducha está llena de moho. Cuando digo llena, es llena. Es bastante desagradable ducharse en ella. Pero eso no es todo: al rato de ducharte, empieza a salir agua que se cuela por el zócalo y el marco de la puerta y va directa al centro de la habitación, haciendo allí un charco muy desagradable. Uno se levanta descalzo (sin saberlo) y los pies mojados. También tuvimos que matar una cucaracha de madrugada que salió del baño. Era bastante pequeña, por suerte. Aparte de esto, para subir a la habitación hay unos escalones enormes y 0 accesibilidad para minusválidos. En general, bastante deficiente, teniendo en cuenta que por dos noches hemos pagado 233€, que no te lo vale ni un hotel de 4 estrellas.
