Cute and modern duplex apartment in ideal location RCAS1-1

The location was in a great spot in the old town close to many restaurants, bars and shops. Many of the streets are for pedestrians only and there are many signs asking people to respect the residents by keeping the noise down by 11pm. It was great having a washing machine and a rack for drying your clothes.

Getting to the apartment required lugging your suitcase up many stairs which is not good for someone with knee problems. The photo of a little sitting area outside is misleading as it is not set up at the front door like in the photo.

Beautiful little apartment in the heart of Valletta’s historic area, yet on a very quiet little side street. The city was busy, but I slept with the windows open every night. Great access to cafes and tourist sites. Host was very responsive to a few very small glitches.

The apartment was great, but a word about access. First of all, if you’re troubled by hills and stairs, you don’t belong in Valletta at all. The historic area is classically medieval that way. Many of the streets are not “streets” as you might know them, but rather broad stone stairways. The apartment is on one such street. There is no direct auto access to the front door. Do NOT rely on Google or Uber mapping, they will leave you several blocks away. The map on Booking.com is better. The closest places for auto or taxi access is the corner of St Ursula and Melita street, then about 80 steps down to the apartment; or, the Grand Harbor hotel, then around the corner and about 50 steps up St. Ursula street. But you’ve got steps either way. Nonetheless, I’d go back anytime.

Wyjątkowe miejsce w klimatycznej kamienicy w samym centrum Valetty, ale przy cichej uliczce. Aparament bardzo funkcjonalny i świetnie urządzony.

Good location

Fresh towels would have been nice, as we stayed 4 nights. Also woke up at 4am every morning with construction noise and was bitten by insects each night that were in the apartment despite us not opening any windows or doors
