Luciano Valletta Studio - Self Catering

We didn’t actually stay at the property as there were unplanned building works going ahead but the host arranged alternative accommodation for us which was brilliant.

Loved the location, right by the harbour & just a short walk to the town where there’s an amazing amount of shops & restaurants. Short walk to the bus station which has a large choice of journeys & really easy to navigate. Loved the quirky apartment, nice & roomy, comfortable bed & exceptionally clean.

The apartment is separate to the main Luciano building & it’s actually at the side of a road/walkthrough which meant that it was almost impossible to have the windows or shutters open because of people or cars passing by, cars also parked on the road outside which defeated the object of having a harbour view. There is minimal kitchen equipment, there’s 2 frying pans but unable to use them as the bottoms were distorted & didn’t sit flatly on the hob. Also a tea towel for drying the washing up would have been useful.

Great location

The staff were good and did a lot for us, loction was amazing.

Unfortunatley, in the room we booked originally (the one I'm reviewing for) the air con didn't work. It turned on and you could control it, but it didnt cool the room at all, it was just like a fan. And that room was probbaly 8-10 deg hotter than outside, so we couldn't stay there. Luckily the staff upgraded us to a different room where the A/C did work, but it was just a bit of a pain overall to deal with that.
