Royal Mile apt, just 1 min from Edinburgh Castle!

We liked the proximity of the apartment to the Royal Mile. It was homely and very comfortable. It felt like staying in a friend's flat.

The stairs were challenging with luggage, but there is not much that can be done about that in a historic building.

Brilliant location, literally just round the corner from the Castle. The view from the window in the living room is exceptional! Everything we needed was included including coffee (instant and coffee grounds with 2 cafetieres- a single cup and multicup) and tea. There was a washer/dryer which was great as we were a week long stay, and a microwave + combination microwave, grill and convection oven. A complementary bottle of whisky barrel aged shiraz was much appreciated and the fresh flowers were beautiful. The electric shower just off the bedroom was refreshing with a heated towel rail for a cosy towel and a fan heater so you're not chilled as you step out the shower. Good communication from the owner Paul. We arrived early into Edinburgh and he allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment whilst the cleaner refreshed the room and returned after 3 to properly check in. We'd highly recommend.

Excellent location

The property was easy to find and the communication was good from the host. Excellent location for access to the Royal Mile etc

Unfortunately due to a computer glitch the house team hadn’t realised l was actually staying at the flat so bedding, towels etc hadn’t been updated. Host apologised after receiving my message and to address the issue appropriately.
