Cosy, clean Cottage with great facilities

Perfectly located cottage for visiting with family. As soon as we entered we could smell how clean it was, and the hosts had thought of everything we would need for a short stay. The enclosed garden was great for our dogs, and they loved the cottage. Bedroom was a great size for a few days and we even fitted a travel cot in.

I struggled to wash my hair in the shower as the water pressure is a little low - but thats nitpicking!

A bit out of the way on single track roads and quite isolated. Driving back in the dark wasn't great.

Awkward

The beds were comfortable

The property is on someone's drive which we wasn't aware of , talk about been awkward felt like we were intruding rented it to us as a family of 4 with only a double bed , flys galore in there , we even got a text at 10.30pm to turn the lights off nearly 400 for 3 nights I feel absloutly robbed

Peaceful, spacious and comfortable. Super clean. The perfect place to stay for visiting Skegness

There was plenty of parking. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. The property itself was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. It was super clean too. On a night time it was lovely and quiet. Plenty to do in the area and only a short drive to the coast. I don't think we could have booked a better place to stay.

Perfect weekend get away

The property was lovely for our family weekend away, probably a little small for any more than a weekend for our family of 3 but absolutely ideal for a weekend. Very clean, tidy and although small-ish it feels quite spacious especially the living area.

Keep in mind we went while it was warm anyway, I think for us it felt very warm especially in the evenings/night

Had a wonderful stay and wanted for nothing!, So peaceful , all you can hear is the birds!

Cosy, clean and well equipped. Very comfortable and affordable hidden away in the countryside. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable with complementary tea, coffee and milk and a little Lincolnshire treat! Great for dogs as has enclosed patio area. Owners available on site for queries.

Romantic getaway

Exceptionally clean, very quiet, and peaceful. Was left a lovely box of chocolates as was valentines Day, which we thought was very kind and thoughtful. We will definitely be returning

Needed a shower mat, very slippery in the shower & a table lamp in the main room as the spotlights even though they were dimmers they still were to bright in the evening.

We had an amazing couple of peaceful days in this cosy cottage in the countryside.

This little cottage is amazing, it’s lovely and cosy, beautifully finished with its own little courtyard. The owners Jon and Liz are very friendly leaving little treats such as milk and plum loaf. They are also very considerate when travelling with pets leaving dog bowls, treats and blanket available for our furry friend. I would definitely recommend this little cottage in the countryside with only a 7mile drive into Skegness. I will definitely visit again we had a lovely peaceful couple of days Thank you Jon and Liz for allowing us to visit your wonderful cottage it was amazing.

Excellent little cottage

Ash cottage is so modern and extremely clean and has everything you need. Location is great for visiting Skegness about 20/30 mins drive and 5 minute drive to lovely village with good dog friendly eateries and takeaways and convenience stores. Although we didn't manage to meet the owners they kept us well informed of things and left lovely touches like dog treats and milk and a plum loaf. There is also a little outside area for sitting out when the weather allows which is gated so great if you have dogs or small kids

I took my family to stay at Ash Cottage and we all loved staying there. The cottage is very modern and comfortable. Infact I had the best nights sleep in a long while. The hosts are very friendly and most welcoming on our arrival and throughout our stay. We will definitely be coming back on a regular basis and we will recommend staying to our friends and family also.

A blessing

The whole stay from the apartment to the hosts we liked. It was a great short stay and reasonably priced in a Modern cottage with tranquil surroundings. It honestly felt like a home to home experience. The hosts were friendly, kind, helpful and knowledgeable about local surroundings and things to do to make the most of the visit.

Exceptional

The staff is amazing! They really seem to love working there and really care about the place and their guests. It felt really cozy and warm. The place is great, everything is new, enough things in the kitchen, towels. Dogs welcome. We got a bottle of wine when we left 😊 I recommend and we will definitely come again x
