Decent Location, But Lacking Comfort

Location is good, walking distance to the city centre with many good dining options.

The property could benefit from some maintenance. The strong sanitizer smell from the toilet was quite overpowering, and the compact sink and limited space made it uncomfortable to use. The cupboard was poorly maintained, with broken hangers. One morning around 6 a.m., there was significant noise from trash trucks collecting bins located directly behind the bedroom wall, which disrupted our sleep though thankfully, this didn’t happen every day. Overall, the stay had potential but fell short in terms of comfort and maintenance.

Good location, a problem on arrival

The best thing about the apartment is that is between the train station and the centre. It's an easy walk to both. The host was also helpful but...

when we arrived the apartment had not been cleaned. After a long journey, we got to the place late only to find towels on the floor and that the bed had been slept in. We called the host immediately. She was extremely apologetic and offered to refund the first night and provided us with instructions to get to another apartment nearby (second floor, no lift). The apartment we had booked would be ready the next morning to move in. Unfortunately we were on a very tight schedule and by the time we got home (at night) we didn't feel like packing up, going downstairs with the luggage (we stayed eight nights so it was not light) and starting all over again. We decided to stay in the second apartment, less spacious and, we believe, less modern. It wasn't too bad in the end, but not quite what we had expected.

Worked well for my one night stay

The room is very clean, updated, and comfortable. Linens and towels were nice quality. About a 10-15 minute walk from the train station on flat ground. Also a short walk to get into the busy area of Cambridge. The walk there has many cafes with a wide variety of choices. Directions to get in were very clear. Grateful that I was allowed to arrive early and leave my luggage there.

The room is on the first floor facing the road. There was much road noise and people walking by late into the night (it was a Tuesday!), but if that type of thing doesn’t bother you, it’s a great place to stay.

Very comfortable place to stay for short&long stays, well-equipped and close to everything

Accommodation located at close proximity to both train station and city center (both approx. 15-20 min walk). Apartment was well equipped with all things one might need for a somewhat longer stay. keys could be taken from locker close to door, which made checking in and out very easy. Very comfortable bed.

Road next to appt could get quite busy with commuting traffic, when you have your windows open this might give some hindrance. small windows so not much daylight comes in, but with more than sufficient electrical lighting in appt. not a problem at all.

Location and facilities ideal for a couple.

Location was perfect. Close to the station and an easy stroll down Mill Road into the town centre. Any number of good eateries nearby. A very well-appointed property. Would highly recommend it for a single traveller or couple.

Ótimo para temporadas curtas

Um apartamento ótimo para uma temporada rápida. Tudo muito organizado e bonito. Tem tudo que é necessário para passar poucos dias, de mobília a utensílios domésticos.

O barulho da rua era muito alto, para quem precisa de silêncio para dormir ou se concentrar, talvez não consiga. Fora isso, tudo maravilhoso.
