The Botanica - Apartment near Airport - Very Nice

The host was really nice and met us in person. Great close location to the airport and still quiet.

Lots of ants, needed to be cleaned more.

By Saigon standards it's a very spacious apartment and has most of the things that you might need for a few days' stay, including a washing machine and basic cooking facilities. The kids enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool and the outdoor play area. There were plenty of convenience stores nearby, and a few places to eat, including a children's café with a few toys. The host spoke perfect English and was quick to respond to questions. Security seems pretty good, including a paid underground car park.

It's very expensive for Vietnam (although Saigon seems to be getting pricier in general). Parking was quite expensive on top of the apartment fee, about 100K per day for a car. The apartment is a bit rough around the edges - for example, some of the wardrobe fittings had been badly installed/repaired so they didn't open, and in the kitchen the frying pan was too thin and low quality to work on the induction hob.

Conveniently located close to the airport

It is ok, but you can see the imperfections in details. The kitchen sink has a bit of mold around, the bed is cheap and not very comfortable. There was no hot water during our stay. When we moved in, there was no toilet paper but apparently it was hidden behind the mirrors.
