When I book an apartment in Saarburg, this is where I stay

This was a vacation apartment. I stayed here in 2024 also, and I plan to stay here whenever I'm in Saarburg. The hosts are very communicative and helpful. No problem to access the keys and enter the building and apartment. The kitchen was well equipped with even more than I needed. Wifi worked like a champ. Added bonus: The view from the kitchen window was towards the castle - great view all day, but even better at night with the lights.

Something to consider before you book. To get to the apartment, you have to descend 24 steps and ascend 32. To get back out, of course, you have to do the reverse. It was light exercise for me, but would have been an issue for some my age (65). My recommendation: Do it to get in better shape!

Sehr gute Lage im Zentrum mit Blick auf die Burg. Zweckmäßige Ausstattung, sehr sauber. Schnelle Zugang zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten, zum Wasserfall und als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Radtouren.

Keine (kostenlosen) Parkplätze, abstellen von Fahrrädern umständlich.

Net appartement op wandelafstand van het centrum

Super proper appartement, zeer huiselijk, alles wat je nodig kan hebben is aanwezig. Het appartement ligt aan een redelijk drukke baan, maar de slaapkamer ligt aan de achterzijde waardoor je er geen last van hebt.

Zoals in andere recensies aangegeven, is het wat lastiger om er te geraken: via de straat achter het appartement, trappen af en op zonder lift. Maar als je goed te been bent, geen baby bij hebt,.. is dit geen probleem om te doen. Laat je hierdoor niet afschrikken.

Sehr schöne Wohnung zentral gelegen in Saarburg. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Ca. 100 m Fußweg bis zum Saarufer.

Schoon en comfortabel. Breed bed.

De ingang was een beetje een uitdaging. Eerst naar beneden en dan omhoog. Je moet goed ter been zijn.

Wohnung, Umgebung und Natur wunderschön. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und ruhig, gute Betten, wir konnten früher ais geplant in die Fewo. Vermieterin sehr nett, viele Infos erhalten.

moderne und saubere Wohnung mit kompliziertem Zugang, nichts für Ältere

Die Wohnung an sich und die Lage sind prima. Blick auf die Burg. Zimmeraufteilung und auch die Ausstattung der Küche ist super und alles war blitzeblank sauber. Alles ist schnell erreichbar, ein Bäcker ist 2 Minuten entfernt. Parken war in der Nähe (mit etwas suchen) kostenlos möglich.

Eine Stunde vor Zugang zur Wohnung erhielten wir eine Nachricht mit einer Wegbeschreibung, Schlüsselcode, WLAN-Code... Komplett in englisch, warum auch immer?! Das dort kein eigener Parkplatz vorhanden ist wussten wir, also kamen wir mit unserem Gepäck an und suchten den Zugang hinter dem Haus. Wir mussten dann einige Stufen hinunter in einen Hof gehen, zwei Tore / Türen öffnen um dann wieder zwei Etagen zur Wohnung aufzusteigen. Alles etwas eng und schwierig für ältere Personen. Nachdem man das schmuddelige und muffige Treppenhaus bewältigt hat gelangt man in eine helle und frische Ferienwohnung. Das Bett im Schlafzimmer ist riesengroß, nur das Zimmer ist leider zu klein ;-) Man kommt kaum seitlich vorbei und stößt sich an den ausladenden Ecken des Bettes das Schienbein. Das Fenster des Schlafzimmers geht nach hinten in den Hof und es ist eigentlich wunderbar ruhig, wenn es im Haus selbst nicht bis Mitternacht poltern würde.
