Very good stay overall. We stayed in the barrel.

Good heating, clean toilets, comfortable beds. Mullerthal trail is closeby!

The restaurant was not open during this time of the year. But there is a gas station and bar nearby where you can get some food/drinks/supplies.

Despite the price, it’s fine for one or two nights

The view was great. The location was great. The silence was great.

The beds were quite damp on arrival. Apart from the showers besides the reception, the shower buildings were a little nasty. The value for money ain’t that good.

Very badly organized

We stayed at your campsite this past weekend and, unfortunately, had a very unpleasant experience. According to the prior arrangements, the key to our chalet no. 3 would be placed inside the chalet and the door would be left unlocked upon our arrival. However, when we arrived on Friday evening around 8 PM, this was not the case. The reception was closed, the key was nowhere to be found, and we were unable to reach anyone by phone. After searching in vain at the bistro and reception, we felt compelled to try other chalets. Chalet 1 happened to be open, and we were forced to spend the night there. This chalet, however, was not in proper condition: two mattresses were missing from the bunk bed. Luckily, there were only three of us at that time instead of five, otherwise the situation would have been even worse. Later that evening, other guests arrived who faced the same problem. This caused additional stress, as we initially feared that chalet 1 was their booking and we would have to leave. Eventually, it turned out they had booked chalet 2, so we were able to remain in chalet 1, but the whole situation overshadowed our first evening and caused significant distress. On top of this, the swimming pool remained closed the entire weekend, despite the excellent weather. This was a major reason for our booking, and its closure was a great disappointment.

Amazing camping for hikers ! Great location and facilities

A large scale camping on a hill very close to a busstop. Convenient for hiking trails which start from the camping. We had a Koata, a little hobbit hut, so nice and comfortable and right next to a beautiful pool! Good bed and Comfortable blanket/ duve . It has a barbecue to use and table outside . The pool is Amazing to relax in after a day walking! The reception is mostly closed but if you email to get in touch about the key you get a fast reply. There is a bistro with simple drinks in afternoon and coffee in the morning but it’s only open when there are enough people . Staff helpful. Very good nice warm showers

The facilities are a bit old and could do with a make over. The shower I used was a bit blocked so water did not wash away easily . Bins could have been cleaned near the house more often .

4 nights in a Kota near to Echternach and the Mullerthal trails

- The swimming pool - Nearness of our "Kota" (cabin/hut) to the swimming pool, the sanitary block and the bistro - Bread (and coffee) service in the morning in the bistro - Nearness to the waking trails of the Mullerthal and the city of Echternach - The little fridge in our Kota - practical!

- The benches in front of the hut were broken - therefore we hit our toes very often, auwtch! - There's a lot of light coming into the huts at night from outside - the strong lamps on the camspite are on the whole night

Het lag vlak aan de wandelroutes. De barrel was proper. Toiletten en douche leken nieuw. Douches waren warm. Zelf inchecken ging vlot. Beddengoed en handdoeken voorzien.

De barrel was niet warm te krijgen, veel wakker gelegen van de koude en ook ‘s avonds kon je niet gezellig zitten. Dekens waren heel dun. Peuken en rookgeur in de douche, verder wel oké. ‘s Avonds groepjes jongeren met bommetjes. Geen personeel gezien; receptie, cafetaria, brasserie gesloten.

Het tonnetje was knus. Wc en douche schoon en warm. Dichtbij de mullerthal trail.

Verwarming in het tonnetje bij kou buiten niet voldoende. Koude nacht gehad. Daarnaast viel op 1 avond de stroom zeker 5x uit.

Fijn en knus in een Barrel op loopafstand van horeca Echternach en rij-afstand van wandelgebieden.

We hadden Barrel 5. Prima verwarmd en fijne bedjes. We hadden heel knus samen. Goed genoeg voor 2 nachten.

De wc's en douches waren fijn, maar de verwarming deed het niet overal en douches zijn vervangers voor het oude gebouw zagen we. Maar ze beginnen al van binnen te beschimmelen. Als ze niet goed onderhouden worden is dat ook niet meer te doen. Maar voor nu heerlijk gedoucht.

Ik heb betere campings gezien...

We hadden een ton (barrel) besteld maar 1 dag vantevoren was de stroom daarin uitgevallen en zijn we kostenloos omgeboekt naar een chalet. Dat was heel fijn want de barrels zijn echt heel klein. Personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk! 😊

In de avond was de verlichting uit of ging te laat aan, er was geen hand voor ogen te zien. De plaatsen van de camping staan heel kort op elkaar, er is geen privacy. Alles is wat gedateerd en oud, behalve de chalets, die zijn nieuw. Maar de prijzen van de chalets per nacht vind ik wel duur, voor wat je krijgt. De bedden waren vreselijk... Er is geen goede bewegwijzering dus het is wel wat zoeken ondanks dat het niet zo groot is...

Slecht

De vaten liggen op een campeertetrein. De faciliteiten waren deels gesloten en verder van de vaten af. De elektriciteit was uitgevallen door de storm. Er waren geen noodgeneratoren. Kortom we hadden in het vat geen elektriciteit noch verwarming. Wetende dat het buiten 8 graden was en het dus in het vat koud was. We hebben met kleren aangeslapen. Het management heeft ons niet geïnformeerd noch de moeite gedaan om ons warmte of comfort te bieden. Wij komen nooit meer terug. De prijs-kwaliteit is ondermaats.

Locatie is mooi…….. dicht bij het dorp

Wastafel in chalet was erg klein (zeker voor 6per) aangezien ik de douche in de chalet ( meestal ) erg klein vind ga ik graag naar de douche blok. Onder aan de camping hele mooie douches ( nieuwe) Douches bij onze chalet zijn toe aan vervanging, wastafels waren dan weer prima. wel lekker warme douches.

fijn verblijf, fijne bedden, dichtbij de faciliteiten en in de ochtend vlakbij de koffie in het cafetaria bovenaan.

wij verbleven in een kota en er waren nog laat luidruchtige tieners in het parkje tussen de kotas en de douche-faciliteiten. niet fijn.

Comfortabele chalet

Erg schone chalet. Goede bedden en van alle gemakken voorzien. Alle kamers zijn voorzien van een verwarming voor ‘s avonds (dan kan het aardig afkoelen). Parkeren kon bij het chalet.

Slaapbankje was wat krap en qua kussens om op te liggen te dun. Bedden/matrassen zelf waren prima. Wij logeerden in een tonnetje.

Mooie camping in prachtige omgeving

Wij hebben 1 nacht in een van de Kota's geslapen. om vanuit hier de müllerthal wandeling B2 (met verlenging) en de Teufelsschlucht te lopen. Beide prachtige wandelingen en zeker aan te raden als je van avontuurlijke wandelingen houdt! Schattige huisjes dichtbij het zwembad en vrijwel tegenover de wc's en douches, er lag ook nog een bistro helaas was die op de dag dat wij er waren gesloten. verder zag de Kota er netjes uit. Bed kraakte wel enorm maar ik vond het wel comfortabel liggen. Er staat een BBQ bij de kota's dus als je hiervan houdt neem zeker een lekker stuk vlees en wat kolen mee! Omdat we buiten de check in tijden kwamen lagen de sleutels al netjes klaar voor ons in het huisje. Alles is goed aangegeven. Prachtig uitzicht om bij wakker te worden. in de ochtend bij vertrek sleutel bij de receptie af kunnen geven. Al met al nette camping, zou hier zeker weer blijven slapen als we nog eens een route willen wandelen!

omdat we 1nacht bleven weet ik niet of dit toeval was maar de vloeren bij de wc's waren niet erg schoon, de wc's zelf wel!

Het was echt heerlijk verblijven daar! Wij gaan zeker terug.

Wij zaten in een mini huisje. Echt een aanrader met twee personen. Alles is wel aanwezig als een tafel met bankjes met rugleuning. Bed. Wasrekje. Klein koelkastje. Beddengoed is opgedekt als je komt, twee handdoeken. BBQ is er maar ik had mijn eigen bij. Verder super dicht bij het zwembad. Wat er super schoon en fris uitziet. Wc en douches oké. Broodjes service ook vlakbij. Grote speeltuin met tennisbaan / beachvolleybal/ tafeltennis tafel / glijbaan/ wipkip enz. Heerlijk geslapen. Genoeg ruimte voor twee. Vier leuke huisjes bij elkaar. Personeel was aardig. Genoeg faciliteiten. De omgeving is echt super mooi. Je snapt echt dat het klein Zwitserland heet. Wat een mooi gebied als je van natuur houdt. Bekende waterval is een aanrader leuk paadje er heen. Wegen zijn mooi en goed onderhouden.

De douche is iets minder schoon maar niet vies. Morgens hoor je mensen al vroeg broodjes halen.

Goede uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en andere uitstapjes

de locatie van de camping is geweldig. op loopafstand van het centrum van Echternach en naast het Mullertaltrail. steden als Trier, Luxemburg, Diekirch en Vianden liggen allen op ongeveer een half uur met de auto.

het meubilair in de woonkeuken was een tuinset, zoals op de foto's is te zien. wanneer je langere tijd binnen bent vanwege temperatuur en regen, mis je een bank of iets dergelijks. de verlichting in alle ruimtes was TL verlichting. er waren 2 bedlampjes aanwezig, maar ander soort verlichting had prettig geweest.

Das Ferienhaus ("Chalet") ist zwar einfach, aber mit allem, was man benötigt komplett ausgestattet. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut. Zur Innenstadt ist es nicht weit, so dass auch die Lokale dort fußläufig gut erreichbar sind. Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen (war unser Vorhaben) ist die Lage ideal.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln. Im Rahmen des gegebenen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses war alles gut.
