A Beautiful Mosel River Experience

The property is nestled in the Mosel river valley region overlooking Luxembourg in the distance. The property is 37 minutes drive through rustic Germany to Luxembourg city Centre. The host was fabulous and they have their own label wine.

The only drawback is the slight smell of mollases. You get over it in about an hour of your stay. The house is well sealed so we did not have an issue staying.

Apertment is very clean and large with a good kitchen and appliances. Living area, bedroom and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. Free wifi was great

A quiet stay uphill with the family.

Very spacious. We r a family of 4 people & stayed in apartment number 4 which had 6 beds. A Bedroom with a double bed & 4 single sofa 🛋 beds in the living room. There was an open kitchen which was well equipped. Everything was modern. The TV had only channels with German audio. The whole apartment was neat & clean.

The Wifi was very very slow (not good if u’re working online).

There is nice, clean and quiet place. Close to Trier and Saarburg. Lovely local wine and fresh milk. Friendly environment. Kids were really happy to be there.

Great if you love nature

It is located in a quite farm, if you don't bother too much about the "noise" of the cows. The apartment is very spacious. It is close to Luxembourg and Trier. Traveling across the hills is also fantastic.

There is even no electric fan in the apartment which is rather difficult in a hot summer stay. Mosquitos are also a problem for sleeping. WIFI is very slow.

Gerne wieder...

Ich war mit meiner Tochter für ein langes Wochenende auf dem Ferienhof Lahr. Die Gastgeber sind sehr sympathische und freundliche Menschen die uns das Gefühl gegeben haben willkommen zu sein. Die Ferienwohnung war sauber und geräumig. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten und noch viel mehr. Hell, modern eingerichtet und einladend beschreibt es, glaube ich, ganz gut. Der gemeinsame Aufenthaltsraum bot uns noch eine Reihe an Spielen und Büchern sowie Spielzeug das wir an einem ganz besonders regnerischen Tag gerne genutzt haben. Der Hofhund, Charly, begrüßte uns freundlich und hatte immer etwas Zeit für Streicheleinheiten. Der Aufenthalt in den Stallungen der Rinder war für meine Tochter das Highlight. Von klein bis groß wurden alle täglich begrüßt. Die Lage ist als Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Unternehmungen wirklich gut...ob Saarburg, Trier oder andere Städte. Alle sind gut erreichbar. Wir waren bei diesem Aufenthalt eher in der "näheren " Umgebung die aber für Familien mit Kindern bereits einiges zu bieten hat. Insgesamt ein wunderschönes langes Wochenende mit dem festen Plan für einen längeren Aufenthalt wieder zu kommen. Vielen Dank an die Familie Lahr die neben den Ferienwohnungen noch den Rindermastbetrieb sowie das Winzergeschäft führt. Ein vielschichtiges Familienunternehmen das hoffentlich noch lange Bestand haben wird und die Möglichkeit bietet einen schönen Urlaub auf dem Land zu verbringen.

Tolle Unterkunft

Tolle Unterkunft!!!! Wir waren vom 14.08.25 bis 16.08.25. Wir waren begeistert von der Unterkunft....Die Wohnung 3 mit 65 Quadratmeter war Super Sauber, Toll ausgestattet. Zudem ist die Große Terasse mit Blick auf Luxemburg das Highlight. Auf der Terasse ist noch eine Tischtennisplatte mit Schlägern und Bällen die das ganze noch abgerundet hat...Kinder konnten in den Stall und durften die Kälber füttern...Danke an Frau Lahr... Der Hofhund Charly ist super Lieb.. Alles in allem war es ein Toller Aufenthalt und wir planen schon den Nächsten. Danke an das Ferienhof Lahr. Und bis bald Fam. Seitz

Sehr schöne, große Wohnung. Tiptop ausgestattet, schönes Bad mit geräumiger Dusche. Freundlicher, sehr aufmerksamer Service, Dachterrasse mit Tischtennisplatte (Rückzugsort für Raucher), Parkmöglichkeiten vor der Tür. Auf Wunsch opulentes Frühstück zum angemessenen Preis.

Fahrradurlaub zwischen Mosel & Saar

Wir haben uns rundherum wohl in unserer Ferienwohnung gefühlt. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Vermieter sind immer ansprechbar, freundlich und sympathisch.

Ein hübscher Gartensitzplatz hätte unser Urlaubsglück noch steigern können, aber das wunderschöne Umland war Ausgleich genug.

Schöner Aufenthalt auf dem Land

Schöne große und saubere Ferienwohnung. Die Lage ist sehr gut, um Ausflüge in die umliegenden Städte (Trier, Luxemburg, etc.) zu machen. Perfekt für Familien.

Die Duschköpfe könnten mal wieder erneuert werden ;-) ansonsten alles super!
