We stayed in this lovely apartment for three nights. When we expressed our needs to Sabine (ice cubes, for example) she accommodated is with her excellent English and political smile. Would thoroughly recommend this rental with a train to local towns within a 5 min walk. We sampled some of the wine from the vineyard and it was excellent. It’s proximity to the Nurburgring track was a bonus.

My family of four flew into Luxembourg and this was definitely an affordable option for us to stay. We had rented a car out of the Luxembourg airport and this apartment was a quick 20 minutes from the airport. We spent most of our stay exploring Luxembourg and the surrounding areas. We found the apartment clean and comfortable for our family. Sabine was lovely to work with and gave us great recommendations for dinner. I would stay here again if we are ever in the area again. Karen and I stayed in Sabine and Ralf's upstairs apartment on our recent trip to Luxembourg from 3/12/2016 - 3/18/2016. When we arrived, Sabine was extremely welcoming showing us the apartment and all of the amenities (Ralf was busy working in the winery). We got settled in and immediately felt right at home, plenty of space, wonderfully maintained, and naturally lit upstairs apartment. It turns out, this apartment was a perfect jumping off point for us to visit the entire region. While we were there we were able to get to Luxembourg City, Trier, Bernkastel, and many other places within 20 minutes to 1 hour drive. It was so conveniently located, only about 10 minutes to the A1, which takes you everywhere (drove to Epernay, Reims, and Verdun, France one of the days in about 2 1/2 hours). During our stay, Sabine and Ralf were always around and accomodating when we needed them, and still left us to feel like the place was ours while we were staying there. As far as the winery itself is concerned, Sabine took us down to show us her enormous and impressive corkscrew collection and perform a tasting for us. She informed us on the Elbling grape (particular to this area of the upper Mosel). The wines were delicious. You'll never see these wines in your local shop, just if you go to Temmels, Germany. We purchased a couple of bottles while we were staying there and they were all very true expressions of the region. We enjoyed our time at the Temmelsler Ralf Haus and will definitely return (and would highly recommend) if and when we make it back to the area as we feel we made new friends in Sabine and Ralf. This was an excellent weekend. Myself, my wife, and our two year old daughter stayed here for three nights. The pictures, description, and amenities accurately described the property. It was clean, well-maintained, and the owner was extremely cordial. The apartment was bright, inviting, and perfect for our family. The location was quiet and the view was extraordinary. We used this as a home base for seeing Luxembourg. It was perfect. We travelled to Luxembourg City one day (30 minutes each way); Echternach, Beaufort, and Larochette the second day (about a 2 hour loop around eastern Luxembourg; of course, we stopped at each place to see things); and went to the Saarschleife on the third day (35 minutes each way). Also found a good restaurant in Wellen, less than 5 minutes south. Other nearby places to see: I would suggest adding Vianden to the 2nd day loop, making it about 2.5 hours driving time, round trip. We had already seen it, and highly recommend it. Also, if you haven't alrady seen it, Trier is about 20 minutes from here. Again, we had seen Trier, so skipped it on this trip. All in all, I would recommend this property to family, friends, and strangers alike.

Clean, modern, well appointed and ample sized appartment. Perfect for 4. Owners (Sabine & Ralf) are very friendly and will provide a very interesting tour of their wineyard and winery as well as their very well stocked cellar. Great location to explore Western Germany and Luxemburg. Owners provide pool table for use at no charge as well as a well stocked wine/bier cooler at very reasonalble costs. The following three items are worth noting: Appartment is on the third floor. Appartment is in close proximity to train track, but well insulated with closed windows. There is NO internet in the appartment and no Internet cafe in Temmels.

Sehr nette Vermieter mit einer Weinstube und ausgezeichneter Ferienwohnung. Zum Ausspannen ideal, weil die Umgebung sehr ruhig ist. Sehr guter Wein, der auch mal zum mehr trinken einläd und zum wiederkommen verführt.
