BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:


RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: 4 - The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner's Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

This is was our 3rd or 4th stay at The Doc. We always enjoy our time in Gulf Shores.

The house was spotless and just as described… beautiful and updated with plenty of space. Absolutely wonderful location with fishing just outside back door and beach just a short walk away. Definitely would recommend.

The reason for the 4 stars is that the house needs some updating, and I think the check in time could be earlier because 4pm is very late (just my opinion), since check out time is very early also (10am, although we left around 7:30am). Picture from lifting rug up to see what was going on. The kitchen floor in front of the stove had a rug over loose flooring that needed repair/replacing, and moved slightly when walking across that area (a heads up and warning would have been nice). The outside hose sprayer was broken , the boat lift is very rusted and the lights through out the house flickered (may need new bulbs in different areas). The location was great, and it was nice and clean. We were not pleased with two of the bedrooms because they were extremely small, but adequate (pictured appeared larger). The biggest disappointment, and the reason we rented the house was for the boathouse, so we could launch and go into the Gulf to fish, but unfortunately, not being from the area, we did not know there is no access to the Gulf from the Little Lagoon. You can’t take a boat through the small pass. Do note it only has showers, if you have small children (we knew this before going). They could also supply full rolls of toilet tissue. Overall, not bad, just needs a little uprating. Last note, very strict on arrival and departure not a minute sooner than 4pm or a minute late for anyone who may struggle with this lol!
