Our vacation rental, Deichschaf (formerly Borkum), is located on a quiet side street, yet is centrally situated in the heart of Burhave. The town center—with its shops, bakery, and restaurants—is just a short walk away. The dike, beach, play barn, and North Sea lagoon are also within walking distance.

Our vacation rental is located on the first floor of the Windrose guesthouse and can accommodate up to 6 people; it faces the back of the property with a view of the spacious garden. Friendly four-legged friends are welcome to join you!
The beds are distributed across 3 rooms: in the attic, there is a bedroom with a double bed (180x200), a small room with a single bed (90x200), and a sleeping nook—especially popular with children—with a sleeping area of 180x200; there’s also a comfortable double sofa bed in the living room. In total, there is comfortable sleeping space for up to 7 people.
A travel crib with a mattress is available upon request (at no extra cost), and a high chair can also be provided.

The heart of the apartment is the open-concept living/dining/kitchen area with a modern seating area. Here you can spend cozy moments with your loved ones. When the weather is nice, the balcony is the perfect spot to relax—and it’s, of course, fully furnished. The apartment features underfloor heating in every room.
The kitchen features all standard appliances, including a microwave and dishwasher, and is fully equipped with everything needed to make your vacation the best time of the year. The apartment offers a small selection of vacation reading material and board games. The guesthouse provides high-speed Wi-Fi suitable for work.
Highlights of the apartment include the swimming pool located in the residential complex (which guests can use free of charge when open and available) as well as a sauna (for a fee); there is also a lounge (fireplace room) and a table tennis room. In addition, the complex features several furnished seating areas and barbecue spots, as well as a dedicated children’s playground. Bicycles can be stored under cover, and there is a dedicated charging station for e-bikes.
Check-in and check-out times are arranged individually; depending on availability, early check-ins and late check-outs may also be possible. Evening check-ins are also possible thanks to a key safe.
The apartment has its own private parking space directly in front of the house.
In addition to the nightly rate, a tourist tax is payable to the municipality of Butjadingen. There may be a charge of 6.00 € per night for your pet. Bed linens and towels can also be provided for an additional fee (bed linens 13.00 €, towels 7.00 €). A security deposit of €100 is required for your stay, which will be refunded upon proper return of the apartment after departure.



On-site costs: In addition to the nightly rate, you will incur the following costs: €7 per night per dog, if applicable, as well as a tourism tax payable to the municipality of Butjadingen. Bed linens can be rented from our local office for €14.00 per person, and towels for €8.00 per person. Fast, reliable Wi-Fi is available in the guesthouse. Pets are welcome guests!
