* Palmetto Dunes is a gated community in which every vehicle must have a gate pass for entry. One gate pass is included with your reservation at the time of booking. If you require additional passes, please request the exact number needed to ensure they are prepared in advance. Each pass has a fee of $45. All gate passes must be picked up at the host2coast office prior to entry.
* Pool and/or spa heating is available for an additional fee and can be arranged after your booking is confirmed. We kindly ask that heating is ordered in advance of the stay. If the outdoor temperature falls below 50 degrees, the pool heater may not function properly and the pool may not reach the desired temperature. Please note that no refunds will be issued if the pool heating equipment cannot maintain the temperature.
* Free access to The Dunes Buggy transportation which provides courtesy transportation within Palmetto Dunes, Leamington, and Shelter Cove mid-March through mid-September. This on-demand service dispatches vehicles on a first-come, first-serve basis!

Almost everything you will need is within walking distance, so bring your walking shoes! There are free trolley stops at various locations throughout the island.

Free shuttle service. The Palmetto Dunes Buggy service provides complimentary transportation within the Palmetto Dunes Resort and Shelter Cove Harbor. Don't worry about renting a car or spending money on getting to and from all the amenities and things to do at Palmetto Dunes.
The shuttle service will take you to the beach, golf courses, restaurants, shops, and tennis courts at Palmetto Dunes. It will also bring you to Shelter Cove Harbour, Towne Center, and the Plaza. This area is bustling and offers plenty of activities and things to do just off-site.
The Palmetto Dunes Buggy service is available seasonally from April to September. Each van is dispatched on a first-come, first serve basis by request. Typically vans arrive within 10 minutes of a call.

We had a beautiful stay at 49 Off Shore In Palmetto Dunes. We loved the bike riding, beach walking, Pickle Ball round robin. The kitchen was a 10. Very well equipped with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans. We cooked or BBQ’ed every night there. We also loved going to the Hertiage Golf Tournament. Thank you.

The house is perfect for extended families staying together. Pool area is perfect! .9 from beach access by foot or bicycle. Property management was quick to respond and took care of issues quickly. All issues were minor except pool heater running out of gas but even though they could not get gas they made it right.

The house and space was great for our family vacation. There was an issue with the pool but the was resolved with the property management company. They were easy to communicate with.
