ILIS House Matka Canyon

Wunderschön eingerichtetes, neues, kleines Appartement mit fantastischem Blick auf die Berge! Sehr herzliche und nette Gastgeber! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Amazing location and the utmost kind people. We arrived super late. Unfortunately, Google sent us the wrong way and it was already very dark, so, we were lucky that someone helped us get there. We were received with a Macedonian song by the host and some herbal tea. The location is totally built by the family itself! The mountain with the moon shining through the darkness of the night is magical. It's next to Matka Canyon. We'll definitely come back some time. We were there just for one night but it's worth it to stay longer!

Not really a problem, but as a point of feedback in the appartement we stayed: There is room for improvement regarding the aestetics of the (older) shower!

De accommodatie zelf en onze gastvrouw Andriana. We kwamen redelijk laat aan bij de accommodatie ivm problemen bij de grens met de autoverhuur maar Andriana maakte voor ons een heerlijk Macedonische maaltijd.

Het bergweggetje naar de accommodatie was steil en zat vol gaten. Maar dat went gauw.

A stunning location in a beautiful setting with friendly, helpful hosts. The apartment had everything we needed for our short stay and provided a great base for exploring this part of Macedonia. It was quick and easy to get to from the airport after landing late, and waking to the views of the gorge was a delight. We enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Andrijana. Highly recommended.
