3 small challenges - 1. Internet was very slow which meant social media or online watching was non-existent 2. Shower head holder did not hold shower head 3. Pillows were not great

Location and size were great.

The first issue was collecting the key. The lockbox is located around the corner from the apartment, but the directions provided were inaccurate. The location I was sent led me about 500 metres away, when the lockbox was actually only about 60 metres from the apartment. I spent nearly 20 minutes walking around in the scorching sun with my luggage before finally calling the contact number. Only then was I sent the correct pin location. After finally getting into the apartment, I was exhausted and extremely thirsty. I was surprised to find that there wasn’t even a single complimentary bottle of water in the refrigerator. This is the first place I’ve stayed that didn’t provide at least this small courtesy. When I looked for a drinking glass, I found only three water glasses and two wine glasses, one of which was cracked. I then discovered that the toilet ran continuously after flushing, wasting water and creating constant noise. Another disappointing issue was the condition of the extra linens stored in the closet. They appeared to be unwashed and had a noticeable odour of sweat, which raised concerns about cleanliness. In addition, the extra pillows were stored without pillowcases, making them unusable unless guests removed pillowcases from the beds already in use. These are basic housekeeping details that should be addressed before every guest arrives. I immediately contacted the management company to report the issue. I was told someone would come to fix it, but no one ever showed up. It appears the apartment is managed by a property management company rather than the owner, and there is no one available after 6:00 p.m. Unfortunately, the customer service was disappointing, and there was no follow-up regarding the repair. There were also several smaller issues that, while inexpensive to fix, would make a significant difference to guests. The bathroom lighting is very dim, making it difficult to shave or apply makeup.
