Apartment Amarone, 4th floor, no elevator

Apartment is great. It has everything you need; super comfortable mattress, AC, washing machine, kitchen, great shower, balcony. It is perfectly clean, safe, peaceful and warm.

The apartment is modest in size and furnishings, but it is clean and overall in good condition. There was a kettle, a hairdryer and an iron. Not far from the very center of the city. The neighborhood felt quiet, calm, and safe. The hosts were generally responsive and helped me by recommending a luggage locker service, which they kindly paid for, likely as a gesture to compensate for the previous issues.

The apartment felt a little cool due to the winter season and the lack of central heating; however, there is an air conditioner that helps warm the bedroom space when turned on and a heater in the bathroom. The terrace is not currently ready for guest use, as there is some green fungus and mold on the floor. That said, it seems renovations may be planned soon, as renovation materials are already on site. When I checked in, I noticed lint and hairs on the bed linens, on top of and inside the bed. It looked like they may have stuck to the linens because the blanket had been placed on the floor while other bedding was being changed. When I contacted the hosts about this, I was told that the linens would not be changed and was very politely, but insistently, advised to request a change of apartment through Booking. This was not the response I had expected. In the end, I found another set of linens and changed the bed myself.

My stay at Apartment Amarone was wonderful. The apartment was in a quiet, calm neighborhood but still walking distance from stores, museums, restaurants, etc. Inside, the layout was very comfortable and nicely furnished. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. I would stay here again 🤗
