Absolutely lovely stay in Llantwit Major for us and our canine companion. In the lovely old part of Llantwit, the independent shops are only a few doors up and open from weds-sat. Extremely clean and tidy and very comfortable for all of us.

Quaint cottage in the old part of Llantwit Major a lovely little Welsh village. The local people were very friendly and welcoming and there were shops, pubs and eateries close by. There is a good sized, well equipped kitchen in the property, with an excellent oven and hob. The lounge is cosy, with a lovely fireplace and log burner (which we didn’t use in the middle of summer, but it would be lovely in the winter)
The stairs were very difficult with no carpet, which looked a bit scruffy. There was no door on the shower room and toilet, although there is space to fit one. No matter how long you have known someone, a little privacy is needed sometimes! There is hardly any outside space.
