The location and view across the churchyard were great. Llantwitt beach is lovely. The cottage was really comfy, spacious and relaxing, with original features.

There was no bedside table or lamp.

Good location and ideal for myself and wife and our two dogs.

From the moment we booked the contact from the host was welcoming and informative. Nightingale Cottage was absolutely fabulous a home from home. The location is amazing with lots of great pubs with fantastic food. A great array of shops which cater for all needs. Thank you we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will be back.

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location, had everything we needed. Only one possible improvement - a door for the bathroom.

Nightingale was in an amazing location. The kitchen was well stocked. The decor was lovely. The wood burning stove was wonderful & lots of firewood. Lovely towels & bed linen. Very clean throughout the cottage.

A sliding door on the bathroom wood be great. Another armchair in the living area would be perfect. A mattress topper for comfort would make it 5 star.

the house was advertised as two bedrooms but it is only one bedroom, when we arrived we phoned the host and they said yes there is a problem with the listing, she said she would get it changed on the listing, however the house is still being advertised as two bedrooms three months after we stayed! We were offered the option to either leave the house or get a refund so we opted for the latter option as we had no where else to stay. We were only given a partial refund and to be honest this did not make up for the major inconveneice as we required two bedroms and one person had to sleep on a tiny camp bed even though the listing says there are two double beds at the property. We had to go up into the attic on a ladder to get a spare mattress down and the mattress was dirty. The house is located right next to the pub with karaoke going on in the evening so it is very noisy inside the house in the evening, it is also right next to the main road on a narrow bend with buses and tractors going past all day long and trying to pass each other so it is noisy and not pleasant to sit in the front garden, the house has no interior doors so there is no privacy, even in the bathroom! There are not enough blinds on the windows. At the back of the house the garden adjoins the pub beer garden there are no blinds at all on the ground floor and lots of windows and sky lights so it feels like people can see right into the kitchen at night.

Everything. Loved sitting in front garden. Meeting local people who were v friendly. Lovely bedroom n shower. Living room n kitchen. Peaceful.

Would like to see the stairs varnished would be a lovely feature.
