Boujee in Braddon - 1bd 1bth Apt

Excellent location. Very central to great restaurants and cafes. Secure parking was great. The apartment had a well-equipped kitchen, cooking utensils, pots, pans etc. Washing machine and dryer AND an indoor clothesline was fantastic. For great coffee, we recommend 'On Lonsdale', for dinner, we recommend the Early Brid Nepalese restaurant 139/24 Lonsdale St (of an evening, you enter from the rear carpark) - has fantastic food! And for amazing handmade Gelato's, the Gelato Messina.

We arrived in evening, so lock box collection for keys was perfect. Unfortunately, the garage key didn't work and the apartment didn't have linen or bedding for 3rd person to sleep on sofa bed. We were very lucky that another tenant arrived and got us into garage, and we had our own sleeping bag & beach towel our son could use. We found out later from the caretaker the problem was a flat battery on garage remote, and linen for a 3rd person was meant to be included. Caretakers were apologetic and lovely, and brought a remote and towel to us straight away. It all worked out and caretaker responsiveness and consideration was fantastic. Would stay here again.

The location was perfect surrounded by restaurants, parks, convenience stores and a coffee vibe. We were able to walk to main shopping centre and a 7 minute flat walk to all bus services. It was only a 15 minute walk to Canberra Theatre

While there are detailed instructions on collecting the keys and entering the building, it pays to download and review these before you arrive at either location.

You need to leave key in apartment when you leave which, means getting your car out before returning to the room.

Morning sun. Good location. Parking in garage. Coffee and food nearby. Walk to Civic. Surprisingly quiet. Clean.

If you like a quiet soft bed with a cheap aged doona then this is your place. The sofa bed top bedding also felt recently unwashed. There is a faint smell of vomit in the bathroom somewhere - the bath mat or towels ?
