Bwindi My Home

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this locally-owned lodge. Richard arranged my gorilla permit without any issues and can also help with itineraries as well if self-planning as I did. Everything about the experience here was perfect - the rooms, staff and food were all great and the area is perfect for walking and enjoying the local community. I would come back here in a second and would encourage all visiting Uganda to be thoughtful about supporting locally owned lodges opposed to foreign-owned. Thank you, Richard, for a fantastic stay! ♡

Nothing

The lodge was very beautiful and cozy, right in the middle of the forest. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and organised a nice community walk for us where we met with the local community, and a visit to the pangolin rescue center.

Water was not always hot but it was no big problem.

Presion del agua, como siempre. Estaba un poco lejos de la puerta de Buhoma (45min/1h por un camino infumable)

Un magnifico lodge nel mezzo del Bwindi National Park, a distanza di un' ora e mezza di auto dall' entrata del parco per andare alla ricerca dei gorilla; il lodge era meravigliosamente arredato, con due letti matrimoniali separati, all' interno di una contesto naturalistico stupendo; ristorante presente all' interno della struttura, anche di sera ad orari adeguati.

La strada per raggiungerlo è completamente in terra, con buche, pozzanghere, fango e alberi che intralciano; da non fare assolutamente con l' oscurità
