Edward Lake Retreat and Campsite, Kisenyi Village

Just getting round to rating properties from my Uganda trip. This was one of the highlights - a simple place but stunning to be able to sit on my balcony watching the wildlife roam at sunset. The staff member (Jamilah) gave an interesting tour of Kisenyi village where I was able to meet the locals and learn about the way of life here. Later she cooked me a delicious fresh tilapia for dinner. Would stay again.

I was well looked after, no complaints, just be prepared for a bit of travel to reach there along rough road…

Paljon villieläimiä pihalla, todella ystävällinen ja vieraanvarainen henkilökunta, ruoka tuoretta lähiruokaa.

Lakanat olivat puhtaat mutta yleisesti ottaen huone ei ollut puhdas.

Very friendly staff and really good food. The hippos in the garden at night are impressing. They gave us torches for the night to watch them. You can watch the hippos and we saw many other eyes lightning. Sometimes there should be lions.

You are in the a very small village in the middle of an national park - so its no luxuary. There are some crawlies and flies, but the staff do their very best.
