The cottage was nice and warm while the weather was cold, wet, frosty, snowy, windy and constantly changeable outside. It had a calm and welcoming feel as soon as we arrived. The parking was very convenient and despite arriving in a hightop camper van (not a big one) we were able to park by the house. All conveniences were available. We were using the cottage to attend a family funeral, it gave us a retreat that we needed and greatly appreciated. The very local Co op was great as well! Villagers very friendly and helpful. The house and village timepieces amused us as well giving a sense of unreality to our stay. I loved it! Thank you so much.
nothing to dislike . It is useful to know that there are two no.3 cottages in Church St but only one is called Happy Feet, so the phrase from panto “look behind you” is useful. Hahahaa

The host was incredibly accommodating for all our additional requests and generous enough to purchase new items for us to make our stay more straight forward. The house was immaculate, cosy and homely. The radiators were all piping hot (not always the case) which was really helpful to be able to get a quick turnaround on drying baby's washing but also our wet kit after wet wintry walks. Thank you so much Dan - we have already recommended your property to family!
Also the playground only 50 meters away was ideal :-)

The property was cosy and central to wherever we wanted to go.
The property was quite noisy. The windows are poorly glazed so you can hear all the street noise. We were woken up a few times by late night pub goers.
