Location, cleanliness and friendliness of owner. Showers were brilliant. Lot s of pubs within walking distance and a lovely Italian Restaurant. Public transport into Bakewell and Buxton was great.
Only one very minor issue. The top floor twin bedroom has low ceilings, but this didn't bother us as our short friends slept in there. :-)

Used the cottage to work on business strategy with colleagues. Good walking to clear the head. Enough pubs within walking distance. Bedrooms comfortable & clean.
