Good location an Easy parking and a lovely house

It was all good

Not being able to get in at 16.00 and the agency wasn't very helpful. I was on hold so long that they had finished for the day at 18.00 and we still didn't have any door keys! We were about to cancel and book a hotel when the owner phoned and told us where to collect the keys.

The lounge spacious, kitchen well laid out. Bedrooms. Garden lovely & enclosed. Location of property & pool table.

Only one bathroom for 6 adults. Additional toilet small. Would like to have seen a hand rail to safely enter & exit the bath.

Lovely cottage in heart of Castleton with easy access to lovely walks and pubs

The house was perfect very clean there was milk in the fridge tea coffee ect even a bottle of wine was left out for us. The host is lovely and very helpful it was a great location with pubs and restaurants in walking distant. Easy access to wonderful walks. The beds were very comfortable

Lovely house. Comfy beds. Plenty of seating. Pool table great fun. Superb location for walks and eating and drinking. Everything we needed. We did two great walks which both started from the Main Street.

Simply Exceptional

We had a great family time at chandler house, beautiful house at the heart of the city. Everything is just a step away. Pool table is a big big plus, kept us busy all the time. Owners were kind enough to accommodate our early arrivals. Thanks again for the hospitality, will definitely visit again. Cheers

The cottage was beautifully decorated, felt very homely. The welcome gifts were a nice added touch. Excellent communication with Julia.

Delightful cottage in the Dark Peak - good location for walking and relaxing with friends and family

Excellent central location. Well appointed and equipped house - deceptively large property. Friendly and helpful host.

There is no double glazing so the house can be cold, although there is a wood burner and plenty of blankets provided. The tiles around the bath/shower need re-grouting.

Wonderful. Beautiful house in ideal location, glorious weather, lots to do.

The house was beautifully furnished, with lots of added extras, like kindling for the log burner, cosy throws, a bottle of wine, fresh milk and biscuits. The pool table was inspired - we had a lovely evening in. Loved the garden oasis. Our hostess Julia was lovely, and came down specially to sort something out for us.

nice and big. plenty of space for our group of 5 adults. Clean, nice little extra touches. toiletries, wine and biscuits. Big rooms, well maintained. Good decor. Location excellent. Didn’t meet the owner but she was very lovely and welcoming on the phone
