Very clean and welcoming, well equipped house, comfy bedrooms, nice big kitchen diner for group eating and socialising.

Only grumble was how hot the top two bedrooms were and no circulation of air.

Awesome stay - would come back again!

We loved the house, which was spacious and furnished with great attention to detail. Our double bed on top floor was that comfortable, we will be purchasing that exact materace for home - it felt like a loud! No joke! Seriously amazing sleep was had, after awesome hiking and quality family time celebrating 83rd b-day!

Fabulous house. Perfect for groups/couples.

Beautiful house! Has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Lovely touches like fresh scones (with jam & cream) Prosecco and milk in the fridge were very much appreciated. Host very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Bed super comfy. We all slept very well. Excellent location right in the centre of the village. Several pubs, shop, tea shops all nearby. We all loved our stay.

Perfect accommodation to explore the Peak District with all the home comforts.

The road can be busy but only at peak times. Wasn’t an issue when inside and not a deal breaker.

A beautiful property, well stocked, in the perfect location for a family group to enjoy!

This property is a great location, perfect for a group of six with great facilities to cook, eat and relax together in the house and the perfect base for all the great activities in Castleton! it’s a beautiful house, decorated nicely and well stocked with all the facilities and appliances you could possibly need. the prosecco and pastries left for us were a lovely touch!

it was a little warm in the top floor bedrooms, it would have been good to be able to open more of the windows on the top floor.
