Koman Paradise

Eigenlijk is dit een kamer of omgetoverde container in the middle of nowhere. Er is geen straat, enkel een kiezelweg, de parking is hogerop. Er zijn 2 kamers/containers, die zijn op elkaar geplaatst. Wij hadden de kamer beneden en keken uit op een tuintje. De kamer zelf is zeker ok, vrij ruim, alles nieuw, badkamer is klein maar volledig. Het was netjes en wij waren gelukkig met de goedwerkende airco, want het was heeel warm buiten. Ontbijt stelde weinig voor, en is ENKEL voorzien voor deze twee containerkamers. Als je een kamer met zwembad reserveert, dan is er geen ontbijt voorzien, maar heb je wel een zwembad. Hoewel wij niets tekort kwamen, is deze kamer veel te hoog geprijsd voor wat het is. De kamers met zwembad zullen wellicht anders ervaren worden.

The room was very new and modern. We stayed in a Double Room on the ground floor. It had everything we needed: a kettle, fridge, hairdryer, air conditioning, shower gel, and soap. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, and there was a beautiful view of the vineyard. Breakfast was included in the price, although this was not mentioned on Booking. It is freshly prepared by the owner and served individually. A good option for a one- or two-night stay.

The price felt slightly high for what was offered. Due to the location close to nature, there were many insects, so we had to keep the windows closed. The fridge was quite noisy and disturbed our sleep at night. The air conditioning was also fairly loud. The lighting in the room and bathroom was very unpleasant: bright white ceiling lights, with no bedside lamps or softer additional lighting. No coffee is served with breakfast, although 3-in-1 instant coffee is provided in the room. There are no breakfast options, so the fixed breakfast may not suit everyone. The hotel works well as an overnight stop before taking the ferry. If you are planning to spend several days in Koman, keep in mind that there is very little to see or do in the village itself.

Romina nos facilitó un tour muy económico al Lago Koman, recogiéndonos en la puerta De la Villa y trayéndonos de vuelta. La cama era cómoda, buen funcionamiento del aire acondicionado.

La información en booking está dudosa, como servicios generales aparece que tienes acceso a la piscina, cocina y vistas al lago. Pero al llegar nos encontramos que eso no fue así y Romina nos comentó que aunque lo ponga en servicios generales al no especificarlo de nuevo en los particulares no se puede tener acceso a ese servicio, primera vez que me ocurre algo así… Había muchos insectos, algo lógico de estar en mitad del campo, pero había cucarachas. Recomendaría la estancia pero tendría en cuenta estos aspectos.
