Sandy Rays 5 Mins Walk to Beach

The layout of the house is excellent (for the 4 adults and 2 school age kids in our group) and it has a nice homey feel. We particularly loved the outside shower and toilet. The kitchen is very well kitted out - all the basics and more (plus oil / salt pepper etc - it was really good not having to stock a whole pantry for a few days). Comfy beds. Good location. Though not exactly 5 mins walk to the beach really - closer to 9, and it's on a bit of a main road (small town, not a lot of noise anyway, it was fine). Culburra itself had some good things on offer - we weren't there long enough to try it all, but Fishwicks was good for an excellent coffee and baked goods. The weather was complete rubbish, so we didn't experience as much water-related fun as we might have. But it's about a 1/2 hour drive to Huskisson and the national park with superb beaches and walks is just a bit beyond that. About 45 mins to Kangaroo Valley too, so quite an easy spot to day-trip from. 'Check-in' was easy. Some small maintenance required - screen door off the runners, and a broken outdoor side table for example - it's not perfect but I'm sure it was a busy season, so these are probably new issues. So overall a really great place to stay!

Beach towels would make a huge difference. And a bit of a covered area outside would also have been great, but I can appreciate the weather was particularly awful this past week, so it may not normally be required.
