We loved the house and its surrounding garden and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the lawn overlooking the sea. We enjoyed the spacious open plan living and dining area and the house was beautifully clean. The village is a few mins walk away.

Our only gripe was the inconsistency of the wifi, The helpful owner is trying to mitigate this. It certainly wasn't a blot on a fab holiday.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche mit Freunden in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Die Lage, direkt an der Bucht von St. Brieuc war beeindruckend. Wir mussten lediglich über die Mauer schauen um das Meer zu sehen bzw. direkt an den Strand zu gehen. Die Lage auf dem sehr gepflegten, großen Grundstück war unfassbar schön. Der Charme eines typischen bretonischen Steinhauses in moderner Ausstattung. Es gab zwei Terrassen je nach Tageszeit. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit sehr genossen. Danke auch für die unkomplizierte Abwicklung bei An- und Abreise.

Rien tout était super

This is a very clean, private, quiet property. The area behind the house is a protected bird sanctuary as well as the GR34 hiking trail is directly behind the house. You will also enjoy gated, private parking. This is located within one hour or so between many towns to visit (East and West coasts and central). There were 3 single toilets with 2 showers. All 3 bedrooms were private. The dining table had enough for 6 to sit comfortably. Kitchen had most items needed to cook full meals. Plenty of plates, silverware. Beautiful views of the bay. Natural light throughout and can open widows for cross breeze when needed. WIFI is strong. A requirement is that renters provide $300 in cash to the proprietor for a “damage deposit” (this is in writing when agreeing to rent). Be sure to arrange a tour of the house before leaving for that deposit to be returned. This is a smaller, residential town. One small grocer has many basic items in the center of town (the proprietor is very kind). A larger supermarket is driving distance. Within walking distance there is a bakery with dessert sweets in L’Hillion, but there is a boulangerie patisserie with more items driving distance away. The expectation is that the kitchen, bathrooms, toilets be clean before leaving, and beds stripped—Not unique requirements but this a large home, so be sure to make time to clean (cleaning products are available). Best practice is to call the proprietor rather than text or email. My French is intermediate + level, so I can understand and speak for the most part (the proprietor was patient with me when I needed her to repeat something). If you cannot do this, have translate app available on your phone or tablet. Anyone renting this property should find this formidable.
