Convenient and cheap

Cleaness, communication

Convenient for the airport and the train station. I stayed one night before flying out of Pisa Airport. I was unsure when arriving at the property, as it looked like a taxi office from the outside and wasn't in the best part of town. It was self-check-in, and as I arrived late, the keys were left in a letterbox attached to the property. The lock took some jiggling to get the key in the right position to open the door; the same with the lock on the door of the room, which is accessed by a steep, narrow spiral-type staircase- not that easy when you have bags. The room was basic, but clean, and the bed was comfortable. The ensuite bathroom had seen better days, but again, clean and adequate. It wasn't noisy despite being on the main road. It's not accommodation for a holiday, but for a cheap one-night stay it did the job.

The locks, the staircase, and the area felt a bit dodgy, though I was fine and didn't get any hassle. And I have to say, the rooms felt a bit like they could be rented by the hour . . . !
