The owner greeted us personally when we arrived to give us the key and show us around, making sure our stay was off to a good start. The accomodation itself was spacious, comfortable and clean. The surroundings are beautiful as the place is close to the water and Lake Saimaa is nearby as well. We unfortunately didn't have time to make the trip to Linnansaari kansallispuisto, but that is really easy from Oravi as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place close to nature in the Saimaa region.
We had a bit of trouble figuring out how the heating works, but we got it to work (and I'm sure the owners would have helped us if we had asked).
