Friendly staff, location close to the pier and beach, room with air-conditioning, fan, safe deposit box, refrigerator and mosquito net
Open air restaurant with sand floor, daily video in the evening
Super expensive compared to March, but still breakfast only in semi-buffet style (toast, fruits and coffee from buffet, 1 dish a la carte)
Restaurant closed from 2 pm to 6 pm
2 hours daily interruption of power supply due to high fuel prices

Ombak is close to the ferry pier and the beach. Their restaurant is on sand, half covered by a roof, the rest enjoying full outdoor.
They provide daily cinema feature and most evenings a fire show.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The cabins have air-conditioning and fan, moskito net. fridge and warm shower.
The price is very high for Malaysia but relatively normal for Perhentian Island.
At the beginning of the season no breakfast buffet available

Very dated room and cramped- bathroom in need of updating. Air con made the room wet
