Giovanni greeted us and gave us a map of the city and explained how everything was within walking distance and the 'rules' of Rome. We were given the WiFi code also. We later met with Alisa.
Both hosts were very welcoming and lovely.
The room we stayed in was the Farfalle economy double room with a city view.
We had a hot water dispenser for coffee (I believe the coffee was free) and cups in the room. We had a mini fridge with various soft drinks and water inside (there is a cost per drink to refill).
The air con in the room was perfect for me as outside was 30°+ heat. The shower had great pressure, I mostly had it set to cool but did seem to heat up well. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom and it worked very well.
There is a bus stop directly outside that goes to and from Termini station and various other places. We used it to get to Vatican City and then back from Trastevere.
When we were ready to check out we were given keys to the building, we were told that we could keep our luggage in the reception area for the day to collect later as we had a late flight back.
I would definitely come back to stay here again.
There was a mix up with the room we stayed in. We booked the triple room and when we arrived we were given a double room. Great room for couples but not too great when sharing with a friend. I do feel we were adequately compensated for the mix up but unfortunately the room we originally booked was in use and we had to stick with the room we got.
We only had one set of keys, this made going out without the other person a little difficult as there was only one key to lock and unlock the bedroom door
It would have been better to have a key each but we made it work.
