    The hotel is within walking distance of Rome’s major landmarks, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. We arrived late at night, and although the taxi driver took a little while to find the hotel, the 24-hour check-in and the presence of an elevator were much appreciated. We stayed here for three nights when we first arrived in Rome, then spent two nights at another hotel after returning from Sicily. To our surprise, we found ourselves missing this hotel — its convenient location, friendly staff, and warm, homely breakfast all made us wish we had stayed here again. There is also a supermarket nearby, which makes it easy to pick up essentials such as bottled water. The rooms are not particularly spacious, the bathrooms are compact, and there isn’t enough room to lay out all three of our suitcases at once. However, given the location, these are reasonable compromises. For the price, I believe this hotel is an excellent choice and offers outstanding value for money. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and well-located base in Rome without paying a premium for a larger room.

    Everything was superb!! There was one hiccup. The hotel wanted Euros for a tax upon check out and would not accept a credit card for the tax. We could not get Euros during our stay. We paid with extra USD but got drama from the clerk. Just make sure you have the cash/Euros when you checkout. But this hotel otherwise is superb in EVERY WAY!!
