    Had a great stay at Monti First hotel in Rome. It has an excellent location in a good neighborhood-ten minute walk to the Colleseum, Trevi Fountain, all kinds of fine restaurants within walking distance. The hotel offers a 10€ breakfast buffet at a sister hotel five minutes away. The food is excellent. The hotel and rooms are clean with an excellent cleaning lady, Lilia, who always has a smile for her guests. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious. The receptionist, Martina, is friendly and helpful. She speaks excellent English and will arrange free tours, bicycle and car rentals and airport and cruise port transportation on request. She will also show guests the best way to get to tourist sites. All in all if you want a basic, clean room, Monti First will fill the bill at a reasonable price in an expensive city.
