Easy to find with a great location—an easy walk to town. The hill on the way back up is manageable, just hot depending on the time of day. Parking is conveniently right in front of the building, and we felt extremely safe the entire stay. The boutique apartments are beautiful inside and out with a lovely aesthetic. Simple and very well thought out, with all the essentials you need. In addition to bath towels, they provide two beach towels and two Turkish towels—such a nice touch! You can also request fresh towels daily. The location is quiet, with guests of all ages. We had a balcony unit and loved watching the sunset from outside. The outdoor seating areas are perfect for both mornings and evenings. WiFi was reliable and never an issue. There is some construction nearby, but that seems to be happening all over Tamarindo—you’d be hard-pressed to avoid it anywhere. On days we wanted more upscale beach seating, we rented chairs at Ocho Bungalows Beach Club. Plenty of great coffee shops and restaurants nearby, especially The Dragonfly. Would absolutely stay here again.

The bedspread. Too lightweight. We asked for a thicker blanket and were given another lightweight one.

Location, cleanliness, staff responsiveness, tranquillity

Our room did not have a little sit down area (table and chairs), not enough space to hang clothes for a week stay and water pressure was too low (probably due to the water shortages)

Grocery quiet and clean

Nothing! We absolutely loved it.

Loved the small complex, only 6 rooms, quiet and clean. Beautiful small pool, very comfy pool loungers. Walk to restaurants and market only 10 minutes downhill, beach 20 min walk. Loved the small kitchenette, stocked with dishes, utensils, bowls, and pans to prepare small meals. Would love to stay here again.
