Free of charge is a private parking space available and for a fee a washing machine for shared use. On one of the most beautiful places on the Baltic Sea, near Wismar, lies the island of Poel. It is connected to the mainland by a causeway. Gollwitz is considered an insider tip of the island and is an ideal place to find peace and quiet! It also attracts with a very good water quality. Due to the offshore sandbanks, the beach here is particularly shallow and child-friendly. There is a large beach playground and a kiosk, where beach chairs can also be rented. Those who bring their four-legged friends will be happy about the separate dog beach. The location is an ideal starting point at any time of year to visit the old Hanseatic cities of Wismar, Lübeck and Rostock or the state capital Schwerin. The Baltic Sea island of Poel can be wonderfully explored by bike from here.
