The second best fishing river in Blekinge, Lyckebyån, is also close by. Due to the proximity to Småland, Glasriket, Barnens Gård, Emmaboda and Räntemåla Gårds Elk Park are within reach. Shopping and a good selection can be found in Ronneby and Karslkrona. For a nice day trip, Kalmar and Öland are suitable.
