L'air climatise

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. But there was a problem. The address of #52 Avenue Henri Pontier, given to us and published in Booking.com, was wrong. After a fruitless and stressful search for an address which didn’t appear to even exist, and after a phone message and two emails, we finally received the correct address from Fiona of #57 Avenue Henri Pontier. Once at the apartment there were no instructions on how to find the lock box with the apartment keys. Again a frustrating search and another telephone call to locate the box. The apartment was comfortable but the amenities list published was misleading. There was no garden view, no “free toiletries”, no hair dryer. The final difficulty was the message from Fiona asking if we were ready to leave because it was check out time and the cleaning lady was waiting to come in. This was one full day before the reservation we had paid for was to end. We sent a correction and Fiona apologized. But it did not leave us with a good feeling. So the apartment is nice, but for us, renting it was not a happy experience.
