Aix-en-Provence, Maison provençale au calme de la campagne avec Spa et Clim

We had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need, and the large yard with the jacuzzi was a real highlight. The house is beautifully decorated and has a warm, cozy countryside atmosphere. It's a great place to experience staying in a rural home while still being within easy driving distance of the nearby towns (having a car is essential). The host was responsive, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay.

There were quite a few personal belongings and signs that the house is actively lived in. However, this didn't really affect our stay and wasn't a issue.

Le calme, l’environnement, la décoration et le confort

Le site calme, ombragé, aux chemins privés. La maison conviviale, bien agencée avec son petit coin télé-salon, les baies vitrées sur un jardin clos, ses transats, les tables en fer forgé, le bain à remous et l'emplacement de parking. L'ensemble est très reposant. Bonne literie. Des jeux pour enfants... Ensemble très accueillant à l'image de Marine et de Léonard très réactifs.

Rien à redire.

Good location 20 minutes from downtown. Nice, very quiet neighborhood. The house is small, but it has a nice, shady backyard with huge trees.

Check-in was a huge headache. The host had no English at all. She called me at 18:30 and to be able to understand her I had to find a random person who knew English and French. She said that I must to come to the house before 19:00 to get the key. We had a dinner reservation at 19:00, so my family went to eat, and I spent 1 hour driving back and forth to pick the key up. It was very hot inside the house, and two tiny portable fans didn't help at all. A bonus room with a bunk bed didn't have even a small fan. The host suggested to open the windows, but they didn't have window screens. We slept with open windows, it was still hot, and we all were bitten by mosquitoes. There is a playground on the property, and it’s mentioned in the description. However, for some reason my kids got kicked out.
