Lovely bonding time with family in a very centrally located apartment

The location was amazing. The view and the balcony were my favorite part. We enjoyed the large TV and netflix after a long day of exploring. We'd definitely stay there again but we'd have to do the transportation differently as it was too difficult for us by car.

My only and very real complaint is that you need to be more clear about the location versus the parking lots you recommend for people who rent cars. My mother has accessibility issues and it was very difficult and time consuming to bring our luggage in from the parking deck. My mother had a very hard time walking all that way with her backpack. I had to make two trips to get our luggage into the apartment. Once we were in, the elevator etc was great and very necessary but that part was extremely difficult and misleading in your messages. If you look back at the message you sent, you recommend parking lots and in parenthesis you say (300m) which is .18 mile. It was NOT that close to the apartment.

Overall, the apartment is gorgeous, with high ceilings and ornate features. The kitchen is very well supplied with crock

The location was excellent and some thought had been put into sound proofing the bedroom. The two air conditioners were a blessing as it was quite warm during the day.

I would just suggest including some instructions in English for the washing machine and television. Also, the towels are rather worn…. Good idea to replace them and perhaps include a couple of extra ones as well.

Location is amazing, restaurants cafes shops on your doorstep

The beam in the loft bedroom , maybe a light weight small curtain could help as I did hit my head . But it didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay

Overpriced but central

Very central. Also has washing machine. Was clean

Bed was on a mezzanine floor the roof was very low with an enormous beam running the length of the bed on one side so if you stood you would bang your head. At night when going to the toilet which was downstairs it was a bit dangerous. Also stairwell in building stank Bed was hard only two pillows. Also said there was parking was almost impossible to get into one of the local parking buildings on a busy Saturday that is the parking

A great apartment in a central location in which to enjoy Aix … we will be back !

The apartment is so central, on the main street where you can browse the market, shops etc. A short walk away are good restaurants, art galleries. We had an upgrade which was great and enjoyed the Junior Suite with its spacious living area , well equipped kitchen and cosy sleeping area up a small flight of stairs. There’s a lift which was great as we were on the 3 rd floor. Laurence & Yann were helpful , responding quickly .

The initial entry system has a few components……make sure you add the * to the code to get the keys from the box. Watch your head on the wonderful beams in the sleeping area.

Perfect location. The rooms are very well presented, lots of room and very clean on arrival. It is obvious that the hosts take great pride in providing an enjoyable experience for their guests.

The view from our room (Superior room) is just other buildings, but we didnt mind as the place was so peaceful and relaxing regardless.

Charming comfortable apartment in fabulous location

Fabulous Location. Lots of Charm. Enough space to spread around.

The only negative I can find is I wish there were curtains/glass around the shower in/next to the bedrooms. For privacy as well as to not splash water out. Everything else was superb.

Beautiful old apartment in a fantastic location, perfect for three nights in Aix en Provence

Fantastic location on the Cours Mirabeau. Beautiful old apartment, tastefully decorated. Was fantastic to have a well equipped kitchen area for making lunches and not having to eat out every night. Sleeping area upstairs on the mezzanine, so slightly quirky but it worked fine. The hosts were really helpful.

Low ceiling on the mezzanine with two big beams, just have to be careful. Could do with a little bit more storage for clothes upstairs.

Air conditioning (increasingly a must in Aix in summer) comfortable bed and well fitted out and clean apartment

This suite had the bed on a mezzanine floor which could be challenging for some older guests - I still just about managed it in the night

Good for a few days only

In old town. Restaurants outside the building. Fairs everyday. No significant noise. Safe.

The owner knew we were driving to the unit but didn’t bother to tell us that you can’t go to the unit with car as the road is front of it is closed to traffic permanently. We spent two hours in the small streets of old town to try to get to the unit. What the owner needed to say was that you should park in the Rotunde city parking and then walk 300m with your luggage to get to the unit. Also, parking listed in the description on booking.com is a LIE. The parking is city’s parking that the owner pretends is his. You pay €25 per day for it. The sofa in the living room is comfortable only for 10-15 min. If you plan on sitting longer you will be in pain. The owner lists this unit on booking.com with hotels but his expectations show it is more like an Airbnb arrangement where he expects you to clean the whole place when leaving. Towels and sheets are yours to enjoy or wash yourself even if you are there for a week or more. Overall I feel this is deceptive arrangement that should be listed properly on booking.com Bathroom appear renovated but with shower installed to splash water outside the shower area. Shows poor planning. This is a pied-a-terre in a medium size city good for a few days.

A hotel that was built in 1615 says a lot about enduring cool!

If you want to be right in the center of everything in Aix - staying on a building that was built in 1615 this is THE place. It is hard to describe our stay in the junior suite. Opening the French doors to the balcony and looking out at the action on le Mirabeau was awesome. The property is a mix of very old world and super modern. The descending the steps to the spa is like entering another dimension! The amenities like washing machine, dishwasher, cook top made us wish we could have stayed longer. The market Tuesday mornings right out the front door is super special. Highly recommended.

The sleeping loft has some beams that make you duck as you move around, but easy to adapt to.

Perfect location on the best road in Aix. A beautifully maintained old building which was cool inside and quiet because our suite faced the courtyard. We couldn't have asked for a better spot for our first visit to Aix.

Perfection in the heart of Aix-en-Provence

The location was excellent, and the apartment was spacious. It is in an old building with lots of character. There were several doors to open before reaching the apartment, but it was definitely worth it! I would recommend this place for families and other groups of 4-5 people.

A fabulous stay in the centre of Aix-en-Provence

The location of the property is fantastic. So much going on in the town and great to be in the centre of it all but still peaceful enough to feel well rested. Had a very well appointed kitchen with a washing machine and all we needed to make a delicious lunch with fresh produce from the market.

A beautiful convenient apartment right in the centre of Aix-en-Provence

The location was fantastic and the apartment was very comfortable. The kitchen was great and it was nice to fetch fresh pastries, make our own coffee and watch the world go by from the window in the mornings. The apartment and the building were clean. We didn't use the spa.

The ceiling beam above the bed was a bit tricky but it is part of the building. The shower could do with a fixed head as water splashes out of the cubicle when you turn it on and the only way to have a shower is to have a very low water flow. But apart from that we really enjoyed our stay.

Superb property and excellent location!

Great location on a central street which is restricted for cars, so very little traffic. Local events are held on this street. We saw a parade and had a street market set up right outside our apartment!! The suite was lovely-very traditional with balconies but also modern conveniences you would expect. The hosts were great with providing clear guidance. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful place in Aix

Perfectly positioned to be in the heart of Aix but still get a good night's sleep, this beautiful apartment is clean and spacious, we cooked here a couple of nights and had all we needed. Supermarket just up the road and restaurants at the door. Communication with the host was excellent and positive. Highly recommend

Be careful of the lower beam on the mezzanine level, but it's not an issue

Perfect for Aix

Lots of clear explanations with photos for making entry to unit easy.The hosts were very helpful in allowing us to entry to leave luggage. In addition, we had a problem upon exiting and the hosts were very understanding in allowing us time to fix the issue. Perfect location and brilliant hosts so highly recommend!!
