The location was so convenient to great food, shopping and public transportation! Busses would drop tourists off at Monastiraki Square, just 2 blocks away! The local restaurant right near the front door adds a lively atmosphere to the entire street! The building was very quiet and secure. The elevator worked, though 2 people with suitcases was a tight fit! The kitchen suited us well for reheating leftovers. The host was always quick to respond when I had questions, and was very helpful and accommodating.
We were disappointed that our view from the main room was not as good as the posted photos. I think that was a photo from higher up in the apartment building. We were on the third floor and could barely see the Acropolis above the apartments across from us. I was also concerned about safety as we approached the front door, since it was full of graffiti. That concern quickly went away.
We would definitely stay here again!

Good clean apartment, excellent appliances very handy location. Close to restaurant areas, easy walk to main shopping and supermarket and start of The Plaka.

Had the basics of what you needed. Kitchen is cute! Very clean. Very responsive host. Polite and friendly and accommodating early luggage drop off. Cleaning lady was also very kind and put out luggage in our room when she was done cleaning and before we returned. Location is great. I loved that it was hung-dry towels they're just so fresh.
Family run traditional Greek coffee shop across the street was genuine local and also had delicious $2 euro handmade sandwiches.
Smallest elevator ever but super cute.
The view is blocked by a new building so we were disappointed it was so different from what was shown in the photos.
I think if larger persons would have a hard time operating in the narrow shower.
Lighting in the common stairwell could be helpful as it is very dark and the steps are pie shaped and polished marble. .
