Welcome to Wright by the Sea OBX, a centrally located classic Outer Banks beach cottage. Enjoy the open floor plan complimented by the tall wood beam ceilings and beautiful natural lighting. Start your day on the spacious porch with a cup of coffee in hand or take a short walk to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic. After spending the day on the beach with your family and friends come home and mix up a meal in our new kitchen or order out from one of the many nearby restaurants.

- 3 bedrooms - 1 upstairs and 2 downstairs. A queen size bed with memory foam mattress in each bedroom.
- Kitchen (stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave) stocked with drip coffee maker and Keurig, pots, pans, utensils, and spices
- Luxurious custom tiled shower
- Smart TV
- Outdoor dining
- Outdoor shower
- Beach towels provided
Other things to note
This classic OBX cottage has a few unique features. There are high beam ceilings throughout the house, however the kitchen ceiling is 6 feet six inches. If there are any taller members in your group this may not be the perfect fit for you.
There is also a studio apartment on the property. This space rents out independently from the house and has a separate entrance. In case you are interested in renting both spaces to sleep additional two guests please let us know!

We had a wonderful time relaxing at Wright by the Sea! It was perfect for our girls weekend getaway, especially for its proximity to the beach and local food and shops! The kitchen gave us plenty of space to cook and enjoy meals and the many bedrooms provided a great deal of privacy as well. Hoping to be back soon!

Great location. Timely communication with the host. Very accommodating. The house is nicely decorated and well equipped. I do wish one of the 3 bedrooms had a king size bed since the rooms are so nice & spacious but it was still manageable. It’s in close proximity to everything, and walking distance to the beach. Highly recommend!!! And again, a huge thank you to the hosts for letting stay an extra couple of hours after having canceled flights due to a tropical storm. So grateful!

Was a great experience traveling to the OBX, we had no idea how close we were from the Wright Monument as well as to the beach! We knew we were close... but we were CLOSE CLOSE. The house was super cute! Spoke to the owner regarding a few things (fixable) but other than that would total use this property again. They checked in with us within our stay to make sure we were ok, and they provided basic needs to help accommodate our stay. Thank you!
