Beautiful house, short walk to the beach

We had an amazing stay at this Outer Banks beach rental! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything our family needed for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The location was fantastic, and we loved being so close to the beach and local restaurants and attractions.The only downside was the beach access. While it wasn’t far, getting to the beach with young children, chairs, toys, and all the gear was a bit challenging. Families with little ones should be prepared for that extra effort.Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, and we made so many great memories. We would definitely recommend it and would happily return!

Loved our stay. This home was spacious. It had 3 levels to give room to spread out. Plenty of bathrooms to accommodate everyone. Close enough to the beach to walk. Was near the rescue station so beach access had ramp to avoid walking stairs to get over dune and a walkway to keep you from having to walk in loose sand. TV’s in every room! Large living room so all of your party could hang out in one room. Loved the pool and the outside shower. The master bedroom is so large! It had a king size bed, double closets, walk in shower, and a private balcony. We will definitely stay there again!

PROS: The house is beautiful and spacious, located just minutes from the beach. We enjoyed the two bikes available at the house. The decor is very beachy and tasteful. The girls enjoyed the backyard pool. CONS: The house felt unwelcoming. There were no bedding linens, no bath or beach towels, no kitchen towels, no essential supplies (laundry pods, paper towel, etc.). The listing does not mention that the guests should bring their own bedding linens or towels. This information was contained in a check-in email which arrived the day of our check-in when we were already on the road. After paying over $1,300 for two days, we were left with bare beds (a protective mattress cover on one of them had a fresh stain) and zero towels, so I started my vacation with a shopping trip to get the basics. There were puddles of water in the kitchen tile and some hair in one of the bathrooms, When I messaged the property manager asking about towels and voicing my concerns, she rudely suggested I either "enjoy the house or check out" immediately. We felt unwelcome in the house. Even through the place is nicely decorated and is sitting in a great neighborhood, we will take our business someplace else next year. I was unpleasantly surprised and disappointed at the interaction with the property manager after all the glowing reviews this house got. If you plan to book this place, make sure to bring all the essentials (linens, bath towels, beach towels, kitchen towels, laundry supplies, etc.)!
