About this house rental
The generously equipped kitchen opens onto the living area (living room and large dining table), which features a fireplace with an insert.
From the living room, you have direct access to a spacious terrace, a private south-facing garden, and the parking area.
The two bedrooms, located upstairs, each offer breathtaking ocean views.
Le Jardin de l’Ecurie is one of the buildings that made up the former family farm.
Today, converted into a vacation rental for 4 people, the building was constructed in the 1800s. Originally, and for many years, it served as the stable for the farm’s horses.
After undergoing a complete renovation several years ago, the stable had already been transformed into a vacation home. Then the years went by, and this charming little cottage was once again in need of some updates… And now it’s all done!
This recent renovation was also an opportunity to give it a name: Le Jardin de l’Ecurie. This name evokes the distant era when farm work was done using horse-drawn equipment, but also the family vegetable garden—now converted into an ornamental garden—which our guests can enjoy during their stay at the cottage.
Over the generations and through the years, our farmhouse has retained its authenticity and all its charm. It consists of buildings constructed and renovated using traditional techniques, including the family home, the “La Grange” and “Le Jardin de l’Ecurie” guesthouses, and several other outbuildings used as workshops, wood sheds, or barns. The property is set in a rural setting just a short walk from the Mer d’Iroise.
