About this cottage rental
Country chic full-amenity cottage. Green Acre is the place to be for a relaxing getaway. Whether it's the babbling sounds of creek & BBQ summer life you're craving, or local craft beer nights around the firepit, this sun-dappled getaway is fully equipped with everything you'll need for your stay. Close to everything & access to endless amounts of outdoor activities in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Modern conveniences & comforts of a fully stocked home + the rustic charm of a vintage homestead.
Green Acre Homestead is so cozy and funky, a perfect choice for a low key "staycation". The area is known for its artistic spirit and culture. We tried to capture that energy through the finishes, artwork and furniture pieces that we salvaged, repurposed and refinished for your comfort. Two guest rooms sleep up to six people and are comfortably appointed with beds and soft linens that were chosen to delight and encourage some great snuggling. Guest suite one features a queen-sized bed upholstered in a deep green velvet and a sitting area for two. Guest suite two offers a custom built-in adult sized bunk with two full beds. It’s always a big hit with kiddos. There's absolutely nothing basic about these guest suites.
The main living area is a great place to kick back and read a book, relax, or enjoy the 50" smart TV after a day of exploring and hiking the many beautiful trails in the area. You can stream apps like Netflix and Hulu or use the super-fast WiFi on your mobile device.
Weaverville and nearby Asheville have amazing food & beer scenes, but if you prefer to eat in, the kitchen is stocked with all the cookware necessary to make all your meals. Butcher block countertops, farmhouse sink, full stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, Kuerig coffee machine, and toaster.
If grilling is your thing, spill out into the large deck and breathe in the fresh forest air as you barbecue on the 30-inch gas grill. Ingles Supermarket is an 8-minute drive away. The spacious two-level deck leading to a park-sized lawn. Pitch your tent and fall asleep to the sound of the babbling creek; enjoy evenings around the fire pit or read a book in one of the hammocks.

This was a lovely little house to use as a home base for some mountain adventures. My kids especially loved the full-sized bunk beds. Check in was easy, the hosts responded immediately to questions and were very helpful. An added bonus, Weaverville itself is a great little town with good food and fun shops! I would absolutely go back to this same property!

The house was great! Exactly what we wanted.
All the extra details - snacks, coffee, shampoo, etc were just the icing on the top.
Outside space was amazing! Watched the sun set each night.
Couldn't have been better!

This house is immaculate! It is well outfitted, beautifully decorated, and the location is private but still close to downtown Asheville. The host was easy to contact and was wonderful about communication. I have nothing negative to say other than I will definitely be telling everyone about this cute little home!
