About this cabin rental
Welcome to our 1964 built cozy cabin on the highly desirable Big Trout Lake with a superb sandy bottom shoreline located on the Whitefish Chain of lakes (14 of them!). Endless boating, fishing, and FUN opportunities on these lakes (many of our guests bring a boat or will rent one for their stay). There are several restaurants you can boat in and out of on the lakes, making it a wonderful destination for those that want that experience.
We have a large dock and sandy beach area for your enjoyment & relaxation! There is also a wonderful biking & walking trail that runs along the property and is about a 4 mile loop.
Inside there is one bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed. The open upper level loft has 3 full size beds. The basement has a bunk bed with full and twin size beds. One 3/4 bath on the main floor (shower) and a 1/2 bath (no tub or shower) in the lower level with laundry. Outside shower with hot water available. Updated in 2019: kitchen cabinets & countertops replaced, bathrooms, flooring, updated plumbing, electric and HVAC. 1,150 finished Sq Ft inside.
There is a Traeger Ironwood 885 smoker on the deck overlooking the lake along with a Blackstone grill for your enjoyment. 2 Fire pits are also on property; one up top next to the cabin and one below next to lake.

We had a relaxing, memorable, and much needed weekend away up north. Love the Crosslake area and the location of this cabin. Very cozy and lots to do even before summer hits. The bonfire pits and private dock were a big plus. Communication with the host was very prompt and helpful. We hope to come rent again!

Great family trip to Big Trout Lake. We caught some monster bass and northern right off the dock, Whitney's communication was great, and the cabin setup was very cozy.
We took her recommendation and rented a pontoon from Crosslake Pontoon Rentals (also highly recommended). We spent a couple of days cruising and tubing through the white fish chain of lakes.

My family of 5 (children ages 5, 7 and 9) along with our grandparents just returned from a wonderful stay at this property. The highlight for the kids was being able to play on the private beach area and fish right off the dock. We also rented a boat for the duration of our stay, which allowed us to explore the surrounding lakes, find secluded sandbars, go tubing, and even grab a bite to eat at one of the lakeside restaurants.
The location was perfect for evening walks, and we like that we were close enough to walk down to Manhattan's to grab a drink. We had an incredibly relaxing vacation and can't wait to return again soon. This property is perfect for families looking to unwind and enjoy quality time together in a beautiful setting.
