About this house rental
Location, sweeping lake views, light filled open concept living area, location….did I mention location?! This property is ALL about location & views! Located on the North side of Rush Lake (home faces South), this lake home has it all. Located on the main section of Rush Lake, there is easy lake access to Crosslake and the rest of the Whitefish Chain, Rush Lake sandbar, The Warf, Moonlight Bay etc. The property features a large deck overlooking the lake, paved walkways around the home and down to the dock/lake, and fire pit area. Within walking distance of the lake home is The Bourbon Room (1/4 mile) & Moonlight Bay (1 mile, should you choose to walk rather than boat). An easy walk/run or drive, the heart of the city of Crosslake is just 3 miles from the property. New 2023 pontoon boat is available for rent. $350 per day.
The home itself is a spacious 2800 sqft and features an open concept main living area that is filled with windows, Central AC, modern kitchen with stainless steal appliances, kitchen table, and bar seating around the large kitchen island. Living room features 2 couches, 2 easy chairs, You Tube TV, DVD. Lower level is walk out.
4 bedrooms: 2 upstairs (master being off the kitchen), 2 downstairs (2 queen sized bedrooms, 1 bunk room that sleeps 5)
3 full baths (one being attached to the master bedroom)
Deck on lake side features a table & 6 chairs.
Lakeside firepit with 6 chairs.
Double size garage with lake toys and bikes.

The pontoon boat rental is a must! It's in excellent shape and a blast to run around all the chain of lakes. The cabin photos do not do it justice, it is huge and well stocked with all your cooking needs, a grill and washer dryer. The views are phenomenal and it's so peaceful to sit out on the huge patio and watch the lake. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood, had fun walking down the cabin road for morning exercise. Lots of stairs so keep in mind for impaired friends/family.

We had a group of 10 adults stay at this 5 bedroom home for 4 nights. House was very functional, kitchen well-stocked, good linens, comfortable furniture and nice deck with a great view of the lake. We rented their pontoon boat and it worked well. One person in our party fished off the dock and caught some bass and smaller northerns.
My rating of three stars is primarily because of the high humidity in the home's lower-level, where three of the five bedrooms are located. While the weather outside wasn't terribly humid the humidity in the lower-level was extreme, had a musty smell, the sheets on the bed felt damp and made sleeping unpleasant. Also, the home doesn't have air conditioning.
Because of the great location and beautiful view from the deck, I would consider staying here again if they could get the musty air issue under control.
