About this house rental
A private, family-friendly haven awaits with a secluded, southern exposure beach, crystal-clear waters and sandy floor of Pine Lake and a beautiful knotty-pine lake home on 1.6 acres. Up to 10 guests will be comfortable in this 3-bedroom, 2- full bath home in Crosslake. Enjoy views of the beach and lake from the two-story window, screened-in porch or wrap-around deck or take a 30ft stroll through the grass to swim, play or watch kiddos in the water. With other attractions and Whitefish chain nearby, there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy!

The cabin interior is entirely knotty pine and features Northwoods decor with log furniture, making the space feel welcoming, cozy and “Up North.” The Kitchen is fully equipped (including dishware for kiddos) with plenty of seating with barstools at the counter and chairs around a large table with booster seat available if needed. The living room and loft have TVs for when you’re craving relaxing downtime out of the sun. Finally, the 3 season screened-in porch with a bar storage and cooler is a perfect outdoor hangout without all the bugs! All three living spaces offer seating facing the lake for gorgeous views or to keep an eye on the kids.
Outside, enjoy the shade of the mature oak trees while lounging or making meals on the gas grill on the wrap around deck. Take advantage of the large lawn to play yard games or swing on the swing set. The sandy beach and provided beach/water toys add to the fun, especially on this secluded property and quiet lake. Beach towels available. Right off of the sandy beach is a dock for your use and to tie up a boat if needed (Pine Lake has a public access ½ mile down the road). At night, enjoy s’mores or your bevie of choice around the outdoor fire pit. Parking is available for up to 4 cars and includes a extra paved space for vehicle/trailer turn-around.

We had a lovely stay. The house was exactly as described. We enjoyed using the grill to make dinners and smores around the fire. It was the perfect place to have our girls weekend. Would love to stay here again.

The cabin itself is very nice inside, with great finishes and furnishing and a mostly clean interior. The cabin has a great lake view and multiple options to enjoy it including a screened porch and large deck with grill and dining table. The location near Crosslake is great for trips in town for groceries, dining, and activities. Unfortunately our stay was mostly ruined due to the lake beach area being gross and un-swimmable, despite the listing's claim of "crystal clear waters." The entire swimming area was filled with disgusting green and brown moss and pond scum floating on top of the water. And while the owners have trucked in some sand to cover the bottom of the initial few feet of beachfront, the lake itself is mucky-bottomed starting about 10 feet out, so stepping around or jumping in from the dock stirs up all sorts of gross lake muck. If you are looking for a nice cabin to enjoy some lake views and excursions around the area, this is a great place. If you are looking for a place to enjoy swimming and beach play with younger kids (which was our main goal), I would recommend looking elsewhere. We greatly look forward to our once-a-summer lake cabin stays, and we were incredibly disappointed to not be able to enjoy our favorite activity of swimming and playing by the beach with our young kids this year.
