The property is stunning and that alone worth visiting. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I have arrived very late at night and in preparation for that I was sent detailed instructions along with images as to how to find my room. They went over and beyond to help me with my late arrival.
The room and its terrace is very charming and made me feel like I am in a special place. Everything was clean and tidy. The bed is very firm so if you struggle with that there is a duvet cover in the cupboard so you could put that under the sheet to soften it up a bit. I like my mattress firm so I had no problem with this. The fridge and boiler were off on arrival so if you need this it’s good to switch off immediately. The hot water comes instantly once the boiler is switched on. Don’t know how long the fridge would need as I had no need of it but I assume not long.
They make excellent coffee and traditional Cretan filled pastry so you will be sorted for breakfast while you will be enjoying the sights of the beautiful property.
I have passed my feedback directly to the team so they might make you aware of this themselves. Your showering time should be super quick and water switched off during lathering the soap. Otherwise you will flood the place (like I did) and then spend time mopping it up (mop provided) if you won’t want to sleep next to the flooded floor. The bathroom has got a door but is not sealed so water will leak into the main room. The drain in the bathroom is not strong enough to take the water down quickly. Hence be quick with your shower!
